Assessment of Smile Dimensions in an Adult Moroccan Population

Background: This study aimed to assess the smile dimensions according gender, age, and perception of overall quality attractiveness smile. Methods: A cross-sectional including 204 Moroccan men women distributed over five age categories was conducted between January September 2021. Gender, satisfaction auto-evaluation were collected using questionnaire. Then, two images each participant, one at rest upon largest taken. The following distances measured on images: length lips width mouth smile, gingival maxillary central incisor displayed Results: Dimensions significantly more important in men. Women gingiva. With upper lip increased until 50 continued increasing significantly. 74% participants satisfied with their Participants' not associated degree display. Conclusion: Males have mouth. Females display gum than males. Age influences which increases up 50, continues increase age. Practical Implications: definition specific facial norms for ethnic group considering gender groups is essential establish diagnoses orthodontic treatment plans.
